The Power of Simple

Recently I have worn stretch blouses on 2 occasions. First, for a dinner outing with my family. I wore a blue velvet stretch blouse on a blue/grey Designer sari. The sari was gifted by my sister-in-law, and it did not have a matching blouse. The blue velvet blouse made this simple designer sari look even more beautiful.

The second occasion was of Holi. I wore a Fashion sari that I bought online. It is a black and red Dori floral print georgette sari. I could not wait to wear it. So, I tried it on the plain red cotton blend blouse and it looked great! I got a lot of compliments :). I have actually worn this sari with a plain lycra black blouse also. And, it looks equally wonderful.

Fashion and designer saris are great if you are looking to try these blouses on. The sari and blouse both are easy to wear and guaranteed to fit. Mix and match and experiment with many combinations. I think you will like the way you look!

To My Friends and Customers

Thank You!

A huge Thank You to my friends who have appreciated Samtaz products. So far, everyone who has seen the blouses have bought 1-7 pieces. They have not only told me their choice of colors for the next batch, but have also given valuable feedback and suggestions on how I can improve. So, from the bottom of my heart, I want to express my gratitude to everyone who have supported me and I look forward to serving you for a long time to come :).

Wear Those Old Sarees Again!

Revive your old sarees

Many of my friends have come up to me and said, 'I have some old saris but their blouses don't fit me anymore. May be I can try your ready-made, stretch blouses and wear those saris again.' I said, 'Of course! That is what I am here for.' They were so happy when they found out that these blouses will help them wear their beloved saris again!
We all know that our old saris are precious - they are beautiful, still shiny and always in fashion. What do we do with those? Most of us have locked them in a suitcase or storage because we can't wear them until we have matching blouses. And, when we buy the 2X2 rubia blouse they either are poor quality or they don't really go well with those sarees. So, I suggest try these blouses as some of my friends did! They are available in a variety of material and colors - see if any of them would be a good match.

It just feels so good to know that we can wear some of our old, wedding time, sarees again, doesn't it?

Which Blouse Should I Buy?

So, what type of blouse is best for me?

We have stretch blouses of many types. So which blouse will go with what occasion? I would say this will depend on the sari pretty much. The look and feel of all these blouses is quite different. You will have to go with the material and color of your sari to make that choice. The categories I recommended should, by no means, be the last answer to finding the right blouse for your sari.
For eg: though lycra has a universal appeal and is listed under Casual Blouses category, it will even go with some evening, shimmer, party saris. They are also a great work wear. The material feels cool on your body so you will be comfortable all day long.

The other super comfortable material is the cotton blend. It feels just like a legging does, only better! The blouses go really well with many saris, and they are perfect for work or for casual wear. But, who says we can't wear them on an occasion or festival? We just do as we please :).

Viscose/brocade and velvet blouses are generally good for going out to parties, weddings etc. because they have texture and shine. But, you can wear them at work or just casually, too, with a matching sari.

I say feel free to find what works for you and your style. There are no rules and no boundries. Experiment with colors and various saris. Do what you feel right not what fashion dictates for you!

My First Customer

Wow! I already have a customer

My good friend, neighbour, and swimming buddy, came by the other day and told me that she needed a blouse urgently for a wedding. She decided to buy the gold, the silver (with sequins), and the black lycra blouses! She complemented that the blouses are beautiful, they fit just great, and that she would like her mom to try them, too.
Thank You, Shilpa, my first customer, for appreciating the products we are carrying.

I immediately felt that my purpose of being a facilitator in making these blouses readily available to my friends and family (and, of course, everyone else) is getting fulfilled already. And, it is so exciting, fun and rewarding that I cannot wait to get these wonderful blouses out to many more women!

Blouse Colors on Screen

Blouse Colors
At present, we carry most of the basic colors which we think can be matched with many saris in your wardrobe. The goal is to eventually have as many colors available as possible so you have a stretch blouse that goes with EVERY sari!
The colors of blouses you see on the computer screen are only an approximate indication of their actual colors.

There are many factors that affect  how garments look on screen, for example, light in which the photo is taken, material of blouse, type of camera, your monitor settings. You can trust the name of the color mentioned with each blouse and be confident that your blouse will be that color. In general, blouses are darker/deeper in color than what you see on computer.

Blouse Sizes

What about blouse size?
As blouses are made of stretch material, they are available in 2 (or 3) sizes. Note that these sizes are approximate. The good thing about these blouses is that they are flexible and take the shape of the body, so sizes are not absolute.
1. Small/Medium. This blouse fits sizes 32,34 and 36.
2. Medium/Large. This blouse fits sizes 36, 38, and 40.
3. Large/X-Large. This blouse fits sizes 40, 42, 44.

We are working on getting more of the larger sizes available. So, hang in there! I promise to make as many varieties available in as many sizes as possible.
